The Royal Cliff Beach Resort recently played host to a group of faculty, students and alumni of the Assumption University who came to the resort for one of their annual gatherings. Korn Thapparansi, (3rd right) the Minister of Science and Technology was also present at the university gathering as guest of honour.


Jacques Andre Jean Bouthier, Chairman of ASSU 2000, celebrated his birthday at the Montien Hotel Pattaya surrounded by friends and hotel staff who were on hand to wish him many happy returns.


The Raj was a scene of a get together of family and friends to celebrate the Indian Holi festival last week. The Holi is also known as the festival of colours and celebrates the coming of spring.


Indian by Nature restaurant celebrated its first anniversary last week. On this occasion the Khanijou family took the opportunity to have a family reunion and perform religious ceremonies to bless their clients and friends and of course wish for another year of prosperity.


Supadit Maneratjarusri, MD of Royal Garden Plaza and Sathit Mansuwan, resident manager led a team of management personal from the Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa and a team of students from the Kasetsart University in Sriracha, to build lavatories for the children of Bann Nuen Dindang School, Amphur Pong Nam Ron in Chanthaburi province. 50,000 baht was raised for this undertaking as part of the resort’s “Spirit to Serve Communities” project.
