The Pattaya International Ladies Club will hold
their monthly luncheon on Tuesday July 6 at the ‘Horizons’
rooftop restaurant, 23rd Floor, Pattaya Hill Resort Bldg., Soi 2 Pratamnak

Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) meets every Sunday
at Henry J. Bean’s Restaurant. An international and Thai buffet
breakfast, catered by the Amari Orchid Resort, is available from 9.30 a.m. The
meeting begins at 10.30 a.m. and includes a presentation by a guest speaker,
announcements of any recent important general information, social events and
anything of interest to foreigners in Pattaya. On June 27, it is hoped to
welcome a representative from the Department of Commercial Development and
Registration, Chonburi Division who will talk about and give legal guidelines
on "Doing Business in Thailand". Another important part of the
meeting is the open forum where everyone is free to ask questions, seek
information or offer helpful advice to fellow expats. Meetings are open for
anyone to attend and there is ample parking available in the parking area
across from the beach and next to Henry J. Bean’s on the left side of
Pattaya Beach Road, just after the turn.
The Pattaya Sports Club will hold their Summer
Party on July 7 at the Town Inn Town Hotel. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

get there early and it’s possible latecomers may be turned away. A great

The Friday special at Shenanigans Pattaya is now ‘Popeye

Events
The Launch Party for the two live CDs
recorded at Shenanigans by Pop’s Pattaya All Stars in their classic
rock style and the Bastards in their usual punkish manor, is on Friday
July 2 with both bands appearing on the night. The CDs will
go on sale on July 2 which will be an even more
momentous occasion as it also marks the last date of the Bastards in
their present state as the landlord’s mate, Alf is moving to Phuket.
The band will almost certainly blow the roof off the pub. Shenanigans Pattaya,

Exhibitions
For art lovers, don’t miss the opportunity to view ‘The

Yoga for all! Indian by Nature
will be holding yoga sessions Tuesday and Thursday at 1 p.m. in their 2nd
floor lounge. These sessions are ideal for people wanting an introduction to
proper form, and body alignment classes will focus on the basics of yoga with
an emphasis on asana, stretching, flexibility, strengthening, proper breathing
and relaxation. Each session will run for a period of one hour and will be
