Clubs
Pattaya Finland-Society will have
an information meeting, Tuesday February 10 from 3 p.m. at the
Baiyoke Hotel, South Pattaya. Finland’s Ambassador to Thailand, H.E. Heikki
Tuunanen, is the special guest of the meeting and he will speak about Thailand

Pattaya City Expats Club meets on Sunday mornings at
Henry J Beans Restaurant and Pub at the Amari Orchid Resort at the north end
of Beach Road from 9:30-10:30 a.m. for buffet breakfast, and from 10:30-12:30

Exhibitions
Art Exhibition entitled ‘Silent Storms’
featuring the works of another young artist originating from Bangkok but
living and working in Pattaya. Chaiwichit ‘Joe’ Sappaso studied at the
Faculty of Fine Arts, Khon Khaen University and in 2001 won the Lefranc
Painting Contest. Even though he studied with Oil, pastels, sketching,
photography, watercolors and acrylic, he has chosen watercolors as he finds
them fresh and detailed as can be seen in his work. The Art Café
is optimistically looking again on the young talent living here among the
community and is quite sure that his first exhibition at the Art Café
will further contribute to his growth. The exhibition will commence on Monday
February 21with a cocktail reception in the garden from 7 p.m. and a ‘Family
