Clubs

Pattaya City Expats Club meets on Sunday mornings at Henry J Beans Restaurant and Pub at the Amari Orchid Resort at the north end of Beach Road from 9:30-10:30 a.m. for buffet breakfast, and from 10:30-12:30 for entertaining speakers and open forum. Everyone welcome.

The Pattaya Motorcycle Club meets on Friday, at the “Old Speckled Hen” pub, Soi 9, Jomtien Beach from 8 p.m. onwards. Come along, meet new friends and enjoy “Bike Club Happy Hours” where from 8 till 10 its 10 baht off all beers and soft drinks and 15 baht off all spirits. Dining

After the resounding success of the Thai Buffet on Christmas Day at the Queen Victoria Inn, they now intend to include it every Sunday, so while you tuck in to your Sunday Carvery at only 290 baht your good lady can enjoy a full Thai buffet for only 150 baht. Saturday Jan 17 is pie and mash night so come on you Eastender’s pop in for a serving of your favorite dish.

The ‘Yuri–Kon’ duo, a combination of double bass from Konrad Oehler and pianist Yuri Shemagonov, now plays live at the Elephant Bar, Pattaya Marriott Resort and Spa every evening except Sunday from 6.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. The Elephant Bar is an ideal place to relax whilst overlooking the resort’s pool and gardens.
