Political, business leaders invited for Centara Grand Phratamnak Resort soft opening

Local politicians, travel agents and the media were on hand when Centara Hotels & Resorts opened the doors for its second Grand-brand property in Pattaya, the Centara Grand Phratamnak Resort.
General Manager Dominique Ronge and Tulip Group CEO Kobi Elbaz led the Nov. 15 “soft” opening ceremony for the 165-room Pratamnak Soi 5 hotel. Attending were Sattahip Naval Base commander Vice Adm. Chainarong Charoenrak, Department of Special Investigations eastern-region chief Pravit Chaibuadaeng, Chonburi Immigration Police superintendent Col. Chaiyos Warakjunkiet and representatives from top Thai and Russian travel agencies.
Guests presented flowers to Elbaz and Ronge before enjoying drinks.
Chainarong, Pravit, Chaiyos, Pattaya Police Superintendent Col. Suwan Cheaonawinthawat, Pattaya mayoral advisor Grit Jiramongkol and FTV (Thailand) Co. President Edward Kiti all helped cut the ribbon on the new resort before enjoying a dinner prepared by Executive Chef Luca Pulese.

The Centara Grand Phratamnak Resort is the second of three Grand-label properties planned by the hotel chain. The third, the Centara Grand Modus Resort on Naklua Soi 12 is scheduled to soft open Dec. 1.
The Pratamnak Hill property offers suites and family residences stocked with electronic amenities. The halls were built with modern tile and the ceilings are well-decorated. The reception area and the Oceana all-day dining restaurant carry an underwater motif, decorated with shells, paintings of waves and saltwater aquariums stocked with sharks. Furnishings are from Fendi in Italy.
The hotel offers two room types. The 77 deluxe rooms offer a modern and elegant decor to individuals, couples and families and are 36 sq. meters of total living space including a furnished balcony. Guests are offered a choice of either a king-size bed or two double beds sleeping up to two adults and two children. In-room amenities include a bathroom with shower, individually controlled air-conditioning, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, Nespresso coffee machine, in-room safe, flat screen TV with satellite channels, DVD player, docking station, international-dial telephone line and complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access.
The premium suites are perfect for families, since they are able to relax in the comfort of one of three suites. Each suite spans 88 sq. meters and comprises of an extensive furnished balcony, a king-bedded master bedroom and a separate children’s area with bunk beds. Accommodating up to three adults or two adults and three children, the spacious living room is stylish and the bathroom is furnished with both bathtub and separate shower.
In-room services and amenities include individually controlled air-conditioning, built in refrigerator, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, Nespresso coffee machine, in-room safe, flat screen TV with satellite channels, DVD player, docking station, IDD telephone line and complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access. Guests staying in selected guest rooms will enjoy added privileges at the Club Lounge. And attentive staff is on hand to provide personalized service while the Club Lounge is also a fabulous place to relax and enjoy delectable snacks served throughout the day.
