Juthaporn Huyakorn, the Director of Business Development
and International Affairs and Mrs. Saichol Panchumchit, Manager of the Thai
Health Insurance Division of Bangkok Hospital Pattaya presented 100
high-visibility jackets to Dr. Prasit Thongthitcharoen, Chairman, and
Sinchai Wattanasartsathorn, Vice-chairman of the Sawang Boriboon Foundation
to enhance safety at roadside emergency situations.
Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome (centre left), along with Somsak
Pittayapongaporn (centre right), Manager of Pattaya Provincial
Electricity Authority, accompanied by Pattaya City Councillors attended
the launch of the ‘Little Economist’ project Pattaya School No. 2
recently. The project aims to create awareness amongst the youth in regards
to the need to reduce energy consumption. 40 students also plan to join in
the Walk Rally to celebrate the 53rd anniversary of the Provincial Electric
Authority in September this year.

ASEAN University Network (AUN) together with
Chulalongkorn University organized an “ASEAN Student Leaders Forum 2013”
recently. Attending the seminar were student leaders from 26 universities.
The international forum aims to develop roles and cooperation of ASEAN
students to prepare them to make ASEAN’s dreams of One Vision, One Identity
and One Community come true. (l-r) Hathaikorn Sattabongkot, Project

teams at the 1st Charity Fun-Run on Pattaya Beach 2013. The event was
organized by YWCA Bangkok-Pattaya Center and Pattaya City Hall in support of
a campaign to end abuse of woman and children.

Limited (THAI), recently welcomed a group of social media and Facebook
Fanpage members on a tour of THAI’s new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft at THAI’s
Technical Department, Suvarnabhumi Airport. Mrs. Sunathee Isvarphornchai
(3rd right), THAI Vice President, E-Customer Relations Department; Rangsiman
Mokkhasmit (2nd left), and Kent D. Craver (3rd left), Regional Director,
Cabin Experience & Revenue Analysis Marketing, Boeing, were also present.
THAI’s Boeing 777-300ER aircraft is used on flights to Seoul, Shanghai,
Copenhagen and Los Angeles.

and Nataya Kuramarohit, F&B Guest Relation Executive of the Sheraton Hotel
Pattaya visited the offices of Pattaya Mail Media Group recently, where they
were welcomed by Deputy Managing Director Tony Malhotra.
To create an awareness of environmental protection and
conservation, 50 members of the management and staff of the Holiday Inn
Pattaya joined in the HIPY Rally to clean up and rehabilitate the coral
reefs on and off the Tuengnam Beach in Sattahip district recently.
Arum Chaisomsri and Arwuth Tiampakdee (5th and 3rd from
right respectively) represented Dusit Thani Pattaya in donating items that
are useful in making Braille paper for the visually-impaired children at the
School for the Blind in Pattaya. On the same day, the hotel also brought
bottle tops that it collected and will be useful in making artificial legs
for the physically-disabled kids at the Father Ray Foundation. The visits
are part of the hotel’s on-going CSR initiatives in the Pattaya community as
well as in upcountry areas that include charity work for the underprivileged
school children, temple restoration and facilities for hospitals.
