Venue 2, Thai Wake Park Pattaya, featured Cable Wakeboard and Cable Wakeskate. Venue 3, Chalermphrakiat Park in Naklua, hosted Speed Skating, while Venue 4, at Khao Phra Yai, was the site for Downhill Skateboard.
With the goal of identifying top athletes for the Thai national team in preparation for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and the upcoming SEA Games in Thailand later this year, the event also aimed to promote excellence among local talents and steer youth toward healthy lifestyles. Over 400 athletes participated this year, competing for a combined scholarship fund of 946,500 Baht.
Purit stated that the expansion to eight sport disciplines this year was a strategic move to include water sports and contribute to Thailand’s international ranking. He emphasized the nation’s growing strength in extreme sports, noting that Thai athletes are performing impressively on the world stage. Thailand is also set to host the 2025 IWWF Asian Waterski and Wakesports Championships from June 24–29 at Rabbit Lake in Minburi, Bangkok, welcoming Asia’s top athletes.
