A taste of America in the heart of Bangkok — American Fair welcomes all nationalities to Siam Paragon on October 23–25 for food, live music, cultural experiences, technology and family fun. Admission is free, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

BANGKOK, Thailand – A taste of America is coming to the heart of Bangkok as the U.S. Embassy in Thailand hosts American Fair at Siam Paragon from October 23–25, inviting Americans, Thai residents and visitors of every nationality to enjoy three days of food, entertainment, culture and innovation.

Taking place at Parc Paragon and SCBX Next Tech, the fair celebrates the 250th anniversary of American independence and the enduring friendship between Thailand and the United States. Admission is free, with activities running daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

For Americans living in Thailand, the event offers a little flavour of home and an opportunity to share familiar traditions with friends and family. For other nationalities, it is an invitation to discover the diversity of American life through its food, music, creativity and community spirit.

American lifestyle draws on a rich mix of cultural influences, from the shared pleasure of gathering around food to the energy of live entertainment and the curiosity behind technological discovery. The Bangkok fair brings these elements together in a welcoming setting where different generations and nationalities can join the celebration.

Visitors can explore American food and beverages, enjoy live jazz, watch swing dancing and cultural performances, and take part in family activities. Cooking competitions and movie screenings add to a programme designed to offer something beyond a conventional shopping outing.

Those looking for hands-on experiences can join the Freedom 250 Explorer Passport challenge or try the NASA-inspired “Your Name in Landsat” activity, which uses satellite imagery to create personalised names.

At SCBX Next Tech, business and technology panels featuring Google, Microsoft and other organisations will introduce another dimension of American life, exploring ideas and innovation alongside the festivities.

The Bangkok event is the final instalment of the American Fair series, following earlier celebrations in Hat Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima and Chiang Mai.

U.S. Ambassador to Thailand Sean K. O’Neill has invited Thai residents and Americans to take part, highlighting the longstanding friendship between the two countries and the opportunity to experience American culture and innovation.

Support comes from public and private sector partners, including the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Siam Piwat and American businesses in Thailand.

Whether reconnecting with familiar tastes, introducing children to another culture or enjoying a day out with friends, visitors can experience a celebration that brings a touch of American life to Bangkok while welcoming the international community that calls Thailand home.

American Fair takes place October 23–25, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., at Parc Paragon and SCBX Next Tech, Siam Paragon, Bangkok. Admission is free. Further programme information is available through the U.S. Embassy’s website and official Facebook page.
