BANGKOK, Thailand – The Public Relations Department (PRD), in collaboration with the Department of Health Service Support, has launched “Thainess Power: Connecting Lives for Greatest Happiness” at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. Situated behind the Thailand Pavilion, the showcase has attracted steady crowds of international attendees eager to explore interactive presentations of Thai traditions and creativity.

Built around the theme “Thainess Power,” the event highlights Thai identity in a modern, globally engaging format, featuring zones dedicated to sustainable tourism, community-made products, and Thailand’s influence through art, cuisine, music, and performance. The hands-on displays encourage active participation and discovery.

Highlights include the AI Photobooth, which allows participants to create digital portraits in traditional Thai attire against iconic backdrops, and the “Touch of Thainess Giveaway” zone, offering eco-friendly souvenirs and locally produced snacks. Visitors also joined the “Thai Soft Power Stamp Collection,” which introduces 14 creative dimensions through collectible stamps.

On opening day, the program welcomed around 2,000 participants. The photobooth drew more than 400 users, while over 1,000 people took part in the stamp activity. Many also spent time exploring the thematic zones and learning more about Thailand’s heritage and contemporary expression. (NNT)
