BANGKOK, Thailand – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in cooperation with the Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA), welcomed a group of 29 travelers from Taiwan’s Accessible Tourism segment—consisting of people with mobility disabilities from FLOW, Inc.—who arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 11:30 a.m. The group was greeted by Pattaraanong Na Chiangmai, TAT Deputy Governor for Asia and South Pacific Markets, together with representatives from TSRI, ATTA, and Airports of Thailand.

The visitors will participate in a pilot program titled “Enjoy Bangkok–Ayutthaya: 5 Days” from November 18-22, 2025, featuring accessible travel routes across Bangkok and Ayutthaya. This initiative reinforces Thailand’s commitment to positioning itself as a “Tourism for All” destination—one that is inclusive and accessible for individuals of all ages, genders, and physical abilities. It also marks an important step in officially developing the Accessible Tourism market in Taiwan.

The Deputy Governor emphasized that the visit helps reinforce Thailand’s image as an inclusive, accessible destination. She noted the strong potential of the Taiwanese Accessible Tourism market, known for high spending and family travel trends. She added that proper accessibility facilities play a key role in their decision to visit Thailand.

This trip is part of FLOW, Inc.’s annual reward program, led by CEO Sabrina Chen, who accompanied the group. The company specializes in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and cloud technologies, and operates as a social enterprise that supports employment for people with disabilities. It is Taiwan’s first BIM social enterprise and one of the top three integrated BIM providers in the country, with offices in Taiwan and Japan.

During their stay, the group will visit major attractions including Wat Arun Ratchawararam, Asiatique The Riverfront, and an evening Chao Phraya River cruise, before continuing to Ayutthaya to explore Wat Mahathat and Sriayuthaya Lion Park. They will also participate in activities at Wat Phra Si Sanphet and enjoy shopping before flying back to Taiwan.

Thailand remains a top-choice destination for Taiwanese tourists, ranking among their top six preferred markets. From January 1 to November 12, 2025, Thailand recorded 852,201 arrivals from Taiwan, mostly FIT and repeat travelers. They stayed an average of 6.24 days and spent an average of 36,960 baht per trip. With 2.3 million flight seats available from Taiwan this year via eight airlines and six airports, TAT aims to reach 1 million Taiwanese visitors in 2025. (NNT)
