BANGKOK,(NNT) – Thailand and Russia have confirmed their commitment to strong bilateral ties on the occasion of 120 years of diplomatic relations.
Chief of the Defense Forces, Gen Surapong Suwan-ath welcomed the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Russian Federation, Col Gen Oleg Salyukov on his visit to Thailand to discuss cooperation in various fields. Col Gen Oleg highlighted the close ties between the armed forces of the two countries in the fields of military training, education, and the defense industry.
Gen Surapong highlighted the increased cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries, saying it is a foundation for strong diplomatic ties and cooperation in other areas, between the nations.
