Three modern smoking rooms now serve passengers in the international departure zone, with more facilities underway — enhancing comfort without compromising public health.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Public Health Minister Somsak Thepsuthin and a team of experts visited Suvarnabhumi Airport to inspect designated smoking areas. This initiative follows the Prime Minister’s directive to align Thai airport facilities with global standards.

The airport features modern, fully equipped smoking rooms in three key locations within the international departure zone—ensuring proper ventilation and compliance with health regulations, while minimizing the impact on non-smokers.

Additional smoking rooms are being prepared in Concourse SAT-1 and outside the terminal at key entrance gates. One more location is set to open soon to further accommodate passengers.

Thailand is committed to offering international-level comfort and convenience to all travelers. Welcome to a better travel experience! (TAT)
