Over 2,200 Thai workers hired for blockbuster “Jurassic World: Rebirth,” filmed across Krabi, Phang Nga, and Trang.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand has been chosen as a key filming location for the upcoming global blockbuster “Jurassic World: Rebirth,” with the production investing over 400 million baht during its shoot in three southern provinces. Scheduled for worldwide release on July 2, 2025, the film is expected to enhance Thailand’s international visibility and deliver economic benefits, including the creation of jobs for more than 2,200 Thai workers.



Filming took place between June and July 2024 in Krabi, Phang Nga, and Trang, showcasing iconic locations such as Phang Nga Bay, Koh Kradan Beach, and Khao Phanom Bencha National Park. These scenic areas will feature prominently in the film, offering global audiences a cinematic view of Thailand’s natural landscapes and reinforcing the country’s appeal as both tourism and filming destination.

The project showcases Thailand’s ability to host major international film productions, with broad cooperation from local crews, government agencies, and service providers. Thai workers were employed across a range of roles, including technical support, logistics, transportation, and hospitality, contributing to the film’s successful production.


Beyond immediate economic impact, the filming highlights Thailand’s strong film production infrastructure and the collaborative environment it offers to foreign companies.
