Israeli Embassy and Thailand’s NCSA host pioneering three-day cybersecurity workshop in Bangkok, bringing together experts to tackle emerging digital threats and boost bilateral cooperation.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Embassy of Israel, in partnership with Thailand’s National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA), proudly launches the first Thailand-Israel Cybersecurity Workshop held from August 5-7, 2025 featuring a leading cyber delegation from Israel.

Globally recognized as a pioneer in cyber innovation, Israel continues to drive technological advancement and lead in cybersecurity. Home to over 20 cybersecurity unicorns, Israel’s dynamic cyber ecosystem is fueled by entrepreneurship and significant investment, positioning the country as a key global player in securing digital infrastructures. Israeli companies spearhead the development of cutting-edge solutions to address the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape.

This workshop stems from the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Israel’s National Cyber Directorate (INCD) and Thailand’s NCSA, aimed at enhancing cybersecurity cooperation. It represents a significant milestone in strengthening bilateral relations and building resilient digital infrastructure through collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

The three-day program brings together senior government officials, cybersecurity executives, and technical experts from both countries. Through expert-led sessions, case studies, and interactive discussions, participants will explore emerging cyber threats, exchange best practices and discuss strategic solutions to protect national and economic interests in an increasingly digital world.

Ambassador of Israel to Thailand, Ms. Orna Sagiv, stated, “The Embassy of Israel is dedicated to fostering technological innovation and strengthening collaboration between Israel and Thailand. This three-day program is designed to promote mutual understanding and long-term partnership in the cyber domain. It reflects the shared commitment of both countries to advancing cybersecurity innovation and preparedness for a better world.” (NNT)
