The Rawdah, situated between the Prophet Muhammad’s tomb and his pulpit, is one of the most revered locations in Islam and draws millions of visitors each year.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Thai authorities have coordinated access for 2,131 Thai pilgrims to visit the Rawdah, or Garden of Paradise, at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, through advance registration via the Masar Nusuk system. The process was managed by the Thai Hajj Affairs Office, or Biyasah, through its field service team based in Madinah.

A Thai delegation from the Department of Provincial Administration, led by Wanchai Jammin and Rusdi Thaokloy, secured visitation slots prior to the pilgrims’ arrival. This pre-registration was intended to simplify the process and eliminate the need for individual bookings, which are typically required by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

By arranging access to one of Islam’s most sacred sites in advance, Thai officials have played a critical role in reducing procedural hurdles and allowing pilgrims to focus fully on their religious obligations.

The Rawdah, situated between the Prophet Muhammad’s tomb and his pulpit, is one of the most revered locations in Islam and draws millions of visitors each year. Due to its limited capacity, gaining entry often presents a challenge for pilgrims.

Thailand’s efforts have helped ensure smoother access to this deeply spiritual site, further supporting Thai Muslims on their Hajj pilgrimage. (NNT)
