Thai protesters rally outside Cambodian Embassy over border dispute tensions rise amid sovereignty standoff.

BANGKOK, Thailand – A group of demonstrators from the Network of Students and People for Reform of Thailand gathered this morning outside the Cambodian Embassy in Bangkok to voice opposition to the ongoing Thai-Cambodian border dispute.

The group assembled in front of the embassy on Pracha Uthit Road in Wang Thonglang district, waving Thai flags and holding signs affirming their stance on defending Thailand’s sovereignty. Using a sound truck, group leaders delivered speeches declaring their determination to protect the nation amid the escalating border tensions.

Embassy staff were seen intermittently filming the protest from inside the compound.

Security at the site was tight. The Wang Thonglang Police Station, in coordination with Metropolitan Police Division 4, deployed approximately 100 officers, both in uniform and plainclothes.

Metal barriers were set up to prevent protesters from approaching the embassy walls, amid concerns that unexpected incidents could further strain diplomatic relations between the two countries. (TNA)
