BANGKOK, Thailand – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched “Let Me Be Your Journey,” a campaign inviting 90 young volunteers to accompany 60 underprivileged children on three specially arranged trips across Thailand this August. Announced on July 7, the program is part of the 2025 Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sport Year, promoting meaningful travel experiences through community engagement.

The campaign features three routes tailored to different groups of children, with destinations including Chonburi, Khao Yai, and Pattaya. Activities involve zoo visits, farm tours, light adventure sports, and immersive sensory experiences. Participating children come from charitable foundations supporting visually impaired and disadvantaged youth, with volunteers serving as companions and guides.

The first trip takes place on August 16 in Chonburi, where children with visual impairments will explore Khao Kheow Open Zoo and visit Dinosaur Valley. On August 23, a second group will travel to Khao Yai for adventure-based learning and hands-on activities at Chokchai Farm. The final trip, from August 30 to 31, brings another group of visually impaired children to Pattaya for animal encounters and a visit to the FROST Magical Ice of Siam.

Public and private partners are supporting the campaign, including Siam Piwat, SCB Next Tech, Srinakharinwirot University, Bolt, and various volunteer networks, ensuring the experiences are safe, engaging, and enriching for both the children and volunteers.

Volunteer applications are open through July 15 at www.letmebeyourjourney.com. Selected participants will be announced on July 31 via the project’s official website and Facebook page. Further updates are available on the LINE Official Account @letmebeyourjourney. (NNT)
