BANGKOK, Thailand – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is set to launch a new campaign featuring Thai-born, world-renowned rapper, singer, dancer, and actress Lalisa “Lisa” Manobal as the Amazing Thailand Ambassador. The campaign will debut with a teaser in early January 2026 and aims to ignite the next wave of the “LISA Effect,” inspiring travelers worldwide to discover Thailand’s diverse destinations through her unique perspective.
Lisa’s global influence and creativity will play a vital role in presenting Thailand in a new light—showcasing iconic landmarks and hidden gems, while fostering national pride among Thais and confidence among international visitors. This aligns with TAT’s strategy to strengthen Thailand’s position as a leading global tourism destination.
Since Lisa’s appointment as Amazing Thailand Ambassador in October, the campaign has already generated public engagement. Social media users across the country have been very active in sharing destinations they hope to see featured, reflecting a collective pride in showcasing Thailand to the world. TAT has incorporated these public insights into the campaign’s creative direction, ensuring that Lisa’s journey highlights the nation’s cultural diversity, scenic beauty, and authentic lifestyle experiences. Featured locations include Bangkok’s Yaowarat, Ko Samui in Surat Thani, Ko He in Phuket, Prasat Hin Phanom Rung in Buri Ram, and Ayutthaya.
