SUPHAN BURI, 19 June 2015 – The Governor of Suphan Buri yesterday presided over a vowing ceremony for former drug addicts leaving a rehabilitation program organized by the province.

The program is in line with this year’s government policy to reduce the number of drug-related offences and addicts through rehabilitation methods.

About 650 drug addicts had undergone Suphan Buri’s rehabilitation program. They went through numerous activities and lectures designed to change their habit and give them a guideline to a drug-free life so that they could reintegrate back into the society. The oath-taking ceremony marked the closure of the program in the current fiscal year and was witnessed by chiefs of several government units in the province.
