CHONBURI, 2 June 2014 – 27 RPG warheads and five ammunition boxes were found hidden inside a 30-rai area of a dense banana orchard in Chonburi Province.
Authorities have been quickly notified about the findings and were immediately dispatched to recover these items.
The locals have found these RPGs lying around as they were retrieving some banana flowers in the orchard to be used as a cooking ingredient. At this point, it still relatively remains unknown who hid these weapons in the first place.
Police suspect that the culprit stashed these weapons within the orchard to escape any unwanted inspection from local authorities, as they have been manning several security checkpoints within the province.
