Relevant agencies continuing to aid victims of Ratchaprasong blast

BANGKOK, 14 September 2015 – The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) has reported on the progress being made in the rehabilitation of those injured from the blast in Ratchaprasong and the families of the deceased.

NCPO spokesperson Colonel Winthai Suwaree announced that relevant agencies were caring for Thai and foreign persons afflicted by the incident at the busy Bangkok intersection to the fullest extent.

According to the spokesman, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security has presented the victims with flowers and assistance money, and expressed its condolences for the victims and their families. The ministry’s operations center was following the status of the victims around the clock, and was continually dispatching its personnel to visit the Thai and foreign victims.

Col. Winthai said relevant agencies have also been told to continue assisting the injured.
