Pump prices down for all fuels but E85

BANGKOK, 10 March 2015 – Pump prices have gone down for all fuel products except for E85, after the Committee on Energy Policy Administration (CEPA) resolved on Monday to reduce the rates of contribution toward the Oil Fund.

The pump prices of all kinds of fuel except E 95 have been lowered effective this morning, according to oil retailers. The prices of diesel has been cut by 50 satang a liter, octane 95 benzene by 2 baht per liter, and all types of gasohol bar E85, which remains unchanged, by 1 baht per liter.

The CEPA has slashed the Oil Fund contribution rate for benzene by 2 baht per liter, gasohol by 1 baht per liter and diesel by 20 satang per liter. It also resolved to cut E85 subsidy by 1 baht per liter.

In Bangkok, gasohol 91 now sells for 27.98 baht a liter, gasohol 95 by 29.30 baht a liter, benzene 95 by 34.96 baht a liter and diesel by 26.89 baht per liter.
