
BANGKOK, Thailand – Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul led members of the Cabinet in a wreath-laying ceremony Wednesday morning (Oct 23) to commemorate King Chulalongkorn Memorial Day at the King Chulalongkorn the Great Memorial, Royal Plaza, Dusit Palace. The event, beginning at 8:30 a.m., paid tribute to the legacy of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn the Great (King Rama V).
The Prime Minister and Cabinet members paid homage before the royal monument and laid two wreaths, one on behalf of the Prime Minister and another representing the Council of Ministers, in honor of His Majesty’s lasting contributions to Thailand’s development and modernization.
Following the ceremony, the Prime Minister and Cabinet members took a group photograph at the monument to commemorate the occasion and express their reverence for one of Thailand’s most respected monarchs. (NNT)
