In an effort to control gun crime across the city Pol. Col. Somnuk Suwanla-ong led over 100 police officers and volunteers to set up check points around town.
This started on Sukhumvit highway near the Boonthavorn mega store check point and caused a certain amount of congestion and hampered the traffic flow.
