PM calls top security officials to monitor Phuket-Pangnga bomb threat, assuring public safety and vigilance.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Prime Minister convened with the National Police Chief, the Tourist Police Commander, and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports to review the attempted bomb threats in Phuket and Pangnga provinces. She urged citizens and tourists to remain confident that all agencies are maintaining strict security.

Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra posted that the situation appears to be a deliberate attempt to create unrest in the area. She stressed ongoing investigations and reiterated that safety measures have been and will continue to be strictly enforced to protect the public.



The National Security Council will closely monitor and escalate efforts as needed. Deputy Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai will hold a security meeting this afternoon to assess the situation and strengthen measures.

The Prime Minister thanked all officers for their dedication and urged residents and tourists to trust the authorities and continue their daily activities safely. (TNA)
