
BANGKOK, Thailand – The Royal Gazette has published an announcement granting the Border Service Medal to Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and 1,802 officials serving in 31 border provinces. The award recognizes those who met the qualifications outlined in the 1988 regulations governing the medal’s application, entitlement, and revocation.
The list of recipients, totaling 1,803 individuals, was included in the appendix to the announcement, with Anutin recognized under his formal title of Volunteer Defense Corps General.
The royal conferment took effect on September 19, 2025, with the proclamation issued on the same day. (NNT)
