Phuket International Airport is ready to handle the haze situation

PHUKET – Phuket International Airport Director Monrudee Gettuphan has advised travelers that the airport is closely monitoring the haze situation. The airport has set up a haze monitoring center to coordinate with the Southern Meteorological Center (West Coast) and the Phuket Air Traffic Control Centre 24 hours a day. The center can be reached at 076 35153 1-2 

Phuket International Airport is also coordinating with related agencies to help pilots land safely in cases of low visibility. In addition, the airport along with the Quarantine Office of the Ministry of Public Health, are providing health care advice and distributing face masks to passengers whose flights have landed at the airport.
