Minister Paradon says the Cabinet will consider the new Khon La Khrueng Plus scheme and integrated work plan on Tuesday.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Minister Attached to the Prime Minister’s Office Poradon Prisananantakul revealed that the government will propose the “Khon La Khrueng Plus” (Half-Half Plus) scheme and an integrated work allocation plan at the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday (October 7).

Paradon, who oversees the Budget Bureau, said the meeting will assign deputy prime ministers to supervise various areas of integrated development and may also consider the use of central budget funds to support the new Khon La Khrueng Plus project.

When asked about the key priorities in the 2026 fiscal year budget, Paradon said the government’s immediate focus is on flood relief measures for residents affected by flooding between May and September 2025 — covering around 500,000 households nationwide. The relief effort is expected to require several billion baht from the central budget.

He added that the process is still in the stage of data collection and verification before being submitted to the Cabinet for approval, with agencies urged to expedite surveys of damage in all affected provinces. (TNA)
