At Vitafoods Asia 2025, Norwegian biotech and supplement companies showcased sustainable, science-driven products while fostering partnerships with Thailand’s rapidly growing wellness and health industry.

BANGKOK, Thailand – At Vitafoods Asia 2025, the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok and the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce showcased Norway’s prominent role in the global food supplement industry. The event featured a major networking reception and ambassador-led meetings designed to strengthen ties between Norwegian biotechnology firms and Thailand’s expanding health and wellness sector.


With the theme “Bridging Norwegian and Thai Food Supplement Communities,” the programme offered a platform for collaboration, enabling businesses from both countries to explore partnership opportunities in one of Asia’s fastest-growing markets.

Her Excellency Astrid Emilie Helle, Ambassador of Norway to Thailand, highlighted the commitment of Norwegian exhibitors to global wellness through science, sustainability, and innovation. She noted their participation drew considerable interest from Thai industry leaders seeking reliable, long-term partners.


Axel Blom, President of the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, said the networking event successfully connected key stakeholders from Norway and Thailand. He added that Thai participants expressed strong appreciation for the credibility and creativity of Norwegian innovations.
