BANGKOK, 23 September 2014 The National Legislative Assembly is ready to deliberate the draft of the meeting regulations on Thursday when all opinions and doubts are invited to be shared freely.

NLA first vice president Surachai Liangboonlertchai on Tuesday chaired the NLA whip meeting to prepare for a sitting on Thursday when all members will be deliberating the second and the third readings of the draft meeting regulations.

Mr. Surachai said that the upcoming deliberations will start with eight NLA members debating the points of their concerns.

He added that all debaters can spend their time on the deliberation without limit.

Also on Thursday, the NLA will discuss with Prime Minister’s Office Minister Suwaphan Tanyuvardhana regarding the setting up of a joint co-ordination committee that will help liaise the NLA with the government.

Mr. Surachai added that the NLA will convene again on Friday to debate three other draft laws which were originally supposed to be reviewed last week.
