National Reform Council to hold public forum on new gender equality law


BANGKOK, (NTT) – The National Reform Council will hold a public forum on September 16 on the 2015 act on gender equality in hopes of creating public awareness of the new legislation.

The National Reform Council (NRC) committee on children, adolescents, women, the elderly, disabled and underprivileged will host the forum with the Department of Women’s Affairs and Family Development under the theme “No gender bias; no favoritism.”

The forum will educate the public on the details of the new act in order to ready the government and private agencies in adhering to the law as well as creating awareness in gender equality.
