NAKHON PHANOM, Thailand – Nakhon Phanom is set to dazzle visitors with the Illuminated Boat Procession & Red Cross Fair 2025, celebrating the iconic “Light of Faith” tradition. The festival runs from 27 September to 8 October 2025 at the Provincial Hall and Sunthorn Wichit Road along the Mekong River.
Over 12 nights, spectators can enjoy giant illuminated boat displays representing 12 districts, an eco-friendly royal tribute fleet, and a breathtaking drone light show featuring more than 300 drones on 7 October. Visitors will also find free concerts, a bamboo art market, local food, fireworks, and other cultural attractions.
This unique festival is the only one of its kind in the world, blending faith, art, and community in a spectacular riverside celebration. (TAT)
