NACC unveils “Anti-Corruption Foundation”

BANGKOK – The National Anti-Corruption Commission has officially unveiled a new foundation founded to promote the fight against graft.

NACC member Wicha Mahakun, chaired the official opening of the Anti-Corruption Foundation on Wednesday. It has been set up to promote and support activities designed to instill ethics and moral values in the minds of the people of Thailand, particularly children and the country’s youth.

It is intended that the foundation assist in all anti-corruption activities while offering public recognition of those agencies and individuals who have succeeded in fighting graft.

Mr. Wicha said that the foundation, whose office is located at the NACC headquarters, has a mission to help citizens become more involved with the work of the anti-graft agency.

He added that Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha will chair an event to further promote the foundation and gain more support from both state and private sectors and related agencies, to help carry out the anti-corruption policy of the government.
