Ministry of Public Health announces it will fight corruption ahead of International Anti-Corruption Day

BANGKOK – The Ministry of Public Health has announced its support for the national agenda on lasting corruption prevention and suppression.

Public Health Minister Piyasakol Sakolsatayatorn led high-level officials to declare their intentions to fight corruption on the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day. This year, the country is observing Anti-Corruption Day with the theme, “Transparent Thailand.”

The ministry has placed great importance on the prevention and suppression of corruption, as well fostering ethical behavior in civil servants. The ministry has established channels for the public to file corruption complaints via mail or online at https://www.stopcorruption.moph.go.th.

The government has been moving forward with phase two of its national anti-corruption strategy for 2013-2017, which it says will improve its corruption perception index within the ASEAN region. The Kingdom was ranked 3rd as for 2014.
