At the Sun Beam Hotel in Pattaya, the Pratamnak Lions Club in Pattaya held a distribution ceremony for 30 scholarships to impoverished students with good scholastic results from Pattaya City schools.
The president of the Pattaya Tourism and Sports Committee Ratanachai Suthidechanai chaired the ceremony along with the President of the Lions Club Rungthip Suksrikarn.
The deserving students receive their scholarships.
Rungthip said that this is one of the many activities the club has participated in over the last ten years, this year they received 18 scholarships from Siang Singto Magazine for 1,000 THB each which the club topped up by 42,000 baht giving each of the 30 students scholarships for 2,000 baht.
