BANGKOK, Thailand – ICONSIAM and SOOKSIAM are celebrating the annual Vegetarian Festival with “J-licious: Enjoy Every International Vegetarian Menu,” running from October 20 to 29. The event, showcasing various plant-based dishes from well-known restaurants, featuring Thai, Chinese, Western, and regional specialties from across Thailand, caters to both merit-makers and health-conscious diners looking for wholesome and flavorful vegetarian meals.

Restaurants participating in the event include Mozza by Cocotte, serving Italian-style dishes; JUMBO Seafood, offering items such as tofu soup and “Five Treasures Fried Rice”; and KANORI Hand Roll Bar, which presents Japanese vegetarian hand rolls. Coffee Beans by Dao features options such as olive fried rice and vegetarian spring rolls, while BIANCA highlights its pumpkin and Gorgonzola pasta. Have a Zeed rounds out the lineup with Thai favorites including vegetarian pad thai and green curry tofu. A wide selection of desserts and drinks is also available.

At SOOKSIAM on ICONSIAM’s ground floor, visitors can explore vegetarian menus inspired by Thailand’s four regions. Dishes include spicy tomato chili dip from the North, vegetarian waterfall salad from the Northeast, dry-fried curry paste from the South, and classic Bangkok-style fare from the Central region. A special fusion zone adds variety with Asian- and European-inspired dishes such as Golden Shrimp Pesto Spaghetti and Korean-style vegetarian bibimbap.

In addition to the food offerings, the event features Thai–Chinese cultural performances and a shrine to Guanyin, the Thousand-Armed Bodhisattva, where visitors can make merit and pray for blessings.

Visitors can also find more vegetarian options across the river at the ICS Lifestyle Complex, where shops such as GetFresh, Boost Juice Bar, and Fuku Matcha are offering plant-based menu items. For event details, visit ICONSIAM’s official Facebook page or call 1338. (NNT)
