Hua Hin regulates attractions for tourists’ safety

PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN, 28 August 2015 – Hua Hin District is now stepping up its regulations at tourism attractions to enhance security protection for visiting tourists and safeguard confidence, the District Chief says.

Hua Hin Chief District Officer Sutthipong Klai-Udom has revealed that the district has coordinated with the police and military officers in the area, as well as the related agencies, to enhance security protection to visiting tourists. Security protection will be especially strict at popular attractions such as the night market, Sam Phan Nam floating market, and Wat Huay Mongkol Temple.

He has said that the related agencies have been appointed to repair and perform maintenance to all CCTV cameras, to ensure full functionality, as they are important tools to provide safety protection to tourists.

He has also added that the public are encouraged to help survey any suspicious activities or items, and to report any clues to authorities by calling the 191 emergency hotline, or the Damrongtham Center hotline 1567.
