BANGKOK, Thailand – Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya recently graced the royal exhibition of Thai textiles and Southern community handicrafts at Surat Thani Rajabhat University, as part of the “Fun with Thai Fabrics” project under her “Sustainable Fashion” initiative.
On this occasion, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sihasak Phuangketkeow led 65 Heads of Diplomatic Missions from 45 countries, along with executives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to attend a royal audience alongside Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.
Her Royal Highness graciously hosted a luncheon, guided the delegation through the exhibition, and shared her dedicated work in carrying forward the legacy of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother — preserving traditional Thai craftsmanship while elevating its modern appeal for global markets.
The visit offered the Diplomatic Corps a firsthand look at Her Royal Highness’s royal initiatives in safeguarding Thai arts and crafts, while creating meaningful exchanges between international visitors and local weaving communities — a true reflection of creative strength, cultural heritage, and sustainable development.
