Her Majesty the Queen presents medals to the women’s ice hockey teams after Thailand secured the gold medal at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games finals at the Thailand International Ice Hockey Arena on December 19, 2025.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Her Majesty the Queen attended the women’s and men’s ice hockey finals of the 33rd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) at the Thailand International Ice Hockey Arena on December 19.

Upon arrival, Her Majesty was formally received by Minister of Tourism and Sports Artthakorn Sirilatthayakorn, Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand Gongsak Yodmani, Thailand Ice Hockey Association President M.L. Krisada Kasemsan, and members of the organizing committee. Her Majesty then entered the arena and granted a royal audience to the Minister of Tourism and Sports, who provided a briefing on the competition’s objectives. The President of the Thailand Ice Hockey Association then presented a commemorative souvenir.



Her Majesty observed the women’s ice hockey final between Thailand and the Republic of the Philippines. The match consisted of three 20-minute periods, lasting approximately two hours. Thailand won the match 13–4.

After the competition, Her Majesty presented medals to the winning teams. The Republic of Singapore won the bronze medal, the Republic of the Philippines won the silver, and Thailand won the gold in the women’s ice hockey event. (NNT)
