Performers prepare for a grand Thai cultural arts festival hosted by the Bunditpatanasilpa Institute of Fine Arts at the College of Dramatic Arts in Nakhon Pathom, showcasing classical and regional performing arts from all four regions to celebrate and preserve Thailand’s rich cultural heritage.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Bunditpatanasilpa Institute of Fine Arts, through the College of Dramatic Arts, will host a grand Thai cultural arts festival to honor Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother and celebrate Thailand’s invaluable cultural heritage through classical and regional performing arts from all four regions.



The festival will take place from January 9-11, 2026, at the College of Dramatic Arts, Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province. It aims to promote academic and professional excellence in Thai dance, music, vocal arts, visual arts, and traditional craftsmanship at national and international levels, while strengthening the preservation and creative development of Thai cultural identity.

Activities will include Thai classical dance, regional folk dances from the four regions, and contemporary choreography, alongside performances of Thai classical, Western, and regional folk music. More than 1,000 performers from across Thailand will participate, reflecting the richness and diversity of Thai performing arts.


The festival will also feature a special exhibition in honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. Additional exhibitions showcasing visual arts and traditional craftsmanship at national and international levels, as well as visual arts workshops, will be open to the public.

The event underscores Bunditpatanasilpa Institute’s commitment to safeguarding Thailand’s cultural legacy and passing it on to future generations. (NNT)
