BANGKOK, 17 August 2012  – The government is prepared to reveal to the public its 1-year performance report. It insists that the water management projects have been transparent.

In response to the opposition’s concerns over the 350-billion-baht water management project, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has ensured that the all projects have been conducted with transparency. She also dismissed the rumors that she had a disagreement with Chief Advisor of the coalition Chart Thai Pattana Party Banharn Silpa-archa over a budget cut for the Royal Irrigation Department.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Yongyuth Wichaidit chaired a video conference with provincial governors and related ministries in preparation for the government’s 1-year performance report.

The government will organize exhibitions publicizing the administration’s works to the general public in addition to the Prime Minister’s weekly broadcast program. The issues will include the government’s water management projects.
