PHUKET, Thailand – The cruise ship Genting Dream from Singapore has arrived at Phuket Deep-Sea Port, carrying more than 4,000 tourists and adding to travel activity during the Songkran festival.

The vessel was scheduled to dock for one day before departing for Singapore at midnight (Apr 15). Despite the brief stop, the arrival has generated steady activity at the port, where local vendors are selling souvenirs, OTOP products, food, and fresh fruit to visitors.

Many passengers have continued their trips by chartered buses and vans to attractions across Phuket, supporting tourism and local spending throughout the province during the holiday period. (NNT)
