Free shuttle buses provided for the public to pay respects to The Queen Mother at Sanam Luang

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and the Ministry of Transport have arranged 14 free shuttle bus routes connecting key transport hubs to Sanam Luang for members of the public paying respects to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has provided updates on travel facilitation for members of the public who wish to pay respects to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. The Ministry of Transport, in cooperation with the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA), is providing free shuttle bus services on 14 routes.


The shuttle buses connect major transport stations and public transit systems to Sanam Luang, as follows:

  • Victory Monument (Phaya Thai side) – Sanam Luang
  • Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Station – Sanam Luang
  • Southern Bus Terminal (New) – Sanam Luang
  • Bangkok Hua Lamphong Station – Sanam Luang
  • Ekkamai Bus Terminal – Sanam Luang
  • Bang Yai – Sanam Luang
  • Rajamangala National Stadium – Sanam Luang
  • Mo Chit 2 Bus Terminal – Sanam Luang
  • MRT Tha Phra – Sanam Luang
  • MRT Sanam Chai – Sanam Luang
  • MRT Sam Yot – Sanam Luang
  • BTS Siam – Sanam Luang
  • BTS Wongwian Yai – Sanam Luang
  • Phan Fa Bridge Pier – Sanam Luang
