BANGKOK, Thailand – Vijit CHAO PHRAYA 2025, under the theme “The Light of Siam, the Mother of the Nation,” invites the public to witness a spectacular display along the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok.
The event is held in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, remembering her extraordinary benevolence and lifelong dedication to the welfare of the Thai people. Known as the “Mother of the Nation,” Her Majesty devoted her life and wisdom to developing and preserving Thailand’s natural resources, environment, arts, culture, and traditional crafts, while inspiring Thais to embrace sufficiency, gratitude, and devotion to the land.
This year’s festival aims to create a reflective and respectful atmosphere, celebrating Her Majesty’s immeasurable kindness and offering a tribute to her legacy.
