Dr. Panadda Wongphudee named spokesperson for Thailand-Cambodia border volunteer affairs

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Ad Hoc Centre for Thailand-Cambodia Border Situation has appointed prominent personality and social activist Panadda Wongphudee as the new spokesperson for its volunteer affairs.

Dr. Panadda, a former Miss Thailand 2000, actress, and TV host, stated that she accepted the role because she has been active in the affected areas and has witnessed the hardship of the public and the perseverance of the military. She said she aims to be a clear intermediary to ensure factual information is communicated between the public, the media, and military officials, as well as to explain the situation to the international community.



Known for her extensive social work, Dr. Panadda is the president of the “Ong Korn Tham Dee” Foundation and has served as an advisor to government bodies, including the Ministry of Commerce. In her new role, she will leverage her public profile to aid in communication efforts related to the ongoing border situation. (NNT)
