BANGKOK, 18 June 2015 – The Meteorological Department indicated that Bangkok and southern provinces will experience precipitation over the next two days.
Meteorologists said the southwesterly wind is gaining strength in the Andaman Sea and the southeasterly wind has covered the North and Northeast. The two fronts will bring heavy rain, particularly to the western areas of the South.
People are warned to be prepared when leaving home. Bangkok residents can also expect wet weather conditions over the next few days.
Fishermen planning to disembark in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution, as waves are forecast to reach heights of 2-3 meters.
