The “Grand Line in Thailand” event takes place at Lumphini Park in Bangkok, organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand in partnership with Netflix and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to celebrate the premiere of One Piece: Heading to the Grand Line and promote pop-culture tourism in Thailand.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in partnership with Netflix and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), is launching the “GRAND LINE IN THAILAND” event from March 8 to 15, 2026, at Lumphini Park. The event marks the premiere of One Piece: Heading to the Grand Line and aims to use pop culture and entertainment to attract younger travelers and international fans to Bangkok.

TAT Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications Nithee Seeprae stated that this partnership demonstrates Thailand’s potential as a leading destination for global events. By leveraging event marketing and contemporary culture, TAT aims to transform public spaces such as Lumphini Park into innovative tourism venues. Officials expect the event to raise international awareness, encourage local travel, and increase spending in Bangkok, while strengthening Thailand’s reputation as a versatile host for world-class content.

The event includes several themed zones within Lumphini Park. Fans can join the “Luffy Wefie” photo experience, visit the “Chopper Meeting Point,” or relax at “Nakama’s Yard,” which provides complimentary One Piece-themed picnic mats for one-hour sessions with a valid ID.

The main attraction is the Pirate Pedal Boat activity, where participants can navigate the park’s lake in themed vessels such as the Going Merry, the Baroque Works ship, or a Marine battleship. This activity leads visitors to a large, lifelike installation of Laboon, the legendary giant whale. Pedal boat sessions run from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Photo zones and other installations are open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Admission to all zones is free of charge.
