BANGKOK, Thailand – The “LOVE PRIDE PARADE, BANGKOK 2025” took place on the afternoon of June 29, with thousands gathering for what became the country’s largest LGBTQ+ celebration of the year. The day-long event began at Suphachalasai National Stadium before moving through central Bangkok and concluding with evening festivities at the EmSphere shopping complex.
Participants began assembling at the National Stadium at 1:00 p.m., with media registration and float photography starting at 2:00 p.m. Government leaders and representatives from partner organizations arrived ahead of the opening ceremony, which commenced at 3:30 p.m. Speakers at the event included Prime Minister’s Office Minister Jiraporn Sindhuprai, Tourism Authority of Thailand Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt, and Supaluck Umpujh of the Private Sector Partnership Network.
At 4:00 p.m., the parade departed the stadium and made its way along a route through some of Bangkok’s busiest commercial areas, including Siam Paragon, Ratchaprasong, Phloen Chit, and Asoke, ending at EmSphere. A group photo of parade leaders and key participants was taken just before the procession began.
The final portion of the event, held from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m., featured live entertainment, music, and public celebrations at EmSphere. Organizers reported large crowds at the evening program, which marked the grand finale of a month-long series of pride-related activities nationwide. (NNT)
