Administrative Center for Road Safety tightens up measures during seven dangerous days


BANGKOK, 28 December 2015 – Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Director General Chatchai Promlert has disclosed that the agency has focused on reducing risk factors to road accidents including people, vehicles, road conditions and environment along with the raising of public awareness of road safety measures. 

Local administrative organizations, communities and villages are continuously taking part in the anti-risk measures in local areas to reduce the number of deaths and injuries from road accidents during the New Year’s festival 2016 as much as possible.

The Administrative Center for Road Safety will announce its performance daily during the seven-day, dangerous period from December 30, 2015 until January 5, 2016.
