Karin Bloemen, well known singer, actor, comedian and entertainer from the Netherlands, recently stayed at the Thai Garden Resort. She was welcomed by General Manager Rene Pisters who made her feel at quite at home. Karin proudly calls Pattaya her home even though she was in town for only a few days at the invitation of the Nederlandse Vereniging Thailand Pattaya (The Dutch Expatriate Club of Pattaya). Karin made a special trip from the Netherlands to perform for the Dutch community in Hua Hin before making her way to the Eastern Seaboard. Her performance was a huge success in a sold out ballroom, pleasing all Dutch expatriates and other visitors to Pattaya. Among the guests of honour were H.E. J.A. Boer, the Ambassador of the Netherlands together with his lovely wife. The Dutch Expatriate Club of Pattaya has over 200 members and was founded in 2004.
